Why is per-endpoint AI forecasting a foundational part of the infrastructure, not an optional add-on?
Because intermittent generation only becomes controllable if you can predict each endpoint's production and consumption in advance — the forecast is what everything else coordinates around.
Accurate forecasting of production and consumption at grid endpoints is the fundamental prerequisite for stability. A Local AI Agent inside each Endpoint Mini Server uses the endpoint's historical data to predict its own near-future energy behaviour (e.g. the coming day). Those forecasts do triple duty:
- they let the endpoint self-adjust its devices to stay near predicted output;
- they feed the macro-level capacity forecast the management platform builds from all endpoints;
- crucially, they become the basis of the consensus and incentive mechanism — participants are rewarded for how closely reality matches their own prediction.
Forecasting turns unpredictable renewables into something the market can plan and coordinate against.
