What is the multi-eye principle?

A control requiring more than one person to approve a sensitive action, so no single individual can execute it alone (also called the four-eyes principle).

It enforces separation of duties — for example, onboarding an authorised participant needs multiple approvers — reducing fraud and error in regulated financial operations.
