What is Proof of Reserves?

A verifiable demonstration — often on-chain — that the reserves actually backing an issued token (such as a stablecoin) exist and are sufficient.

It gives holders and regulators confidence that tokens are genuinely collateralised, and is a core service in a compliant tokenisation platform.
