What does TradFi (Traditional Finance) mean?

The established, legacy financial world of banks, asset managers, and their infrastructure — contrasted with blockchain-native decentralized finance (DeFi).

Much of Noumena's purpose is bridging TradFi to the blockchain: legacy systems are often incompatible with chains and lack compliant integration paths, so a mid-layer abstracts the complexity away.
