What does AMQP (Advanced Message Queuing Protocol) mean?

A standard messaging-broker protocol used to reliably deliver messages between decoupled services.

In Noumena, user-defined NPL notifications are propagated to external systems as AMQP messages through a broker, so integration services can act on them — for example calling a banking system or a blockchain.
