What year was the iPhone released, launching the modern smartphone era?
2007 → nose · sack.

Steve Jobs unveiled the first iPhone at Macworld in January 2007 and Apple released it that June, pitching it as "an iPod, a phone, and an internet communicator" in one device. Its full-screen multitouch interface — pinch, swipe and tap with your fingers, no stylus and no physical keyboard — redefined what a phone was, and the App Store that followed in 2008 turned it into a platform for a whole software economy. It set the template every smartphone since has copied. Peg 20 · 07 → nose · sack: a nose sniffing a bulging sack. (Note the leading pair 20 = nose, and 07 keeps its zero → sack.)
