What is the difference between an applicant (Antragsteller) and a subscriber (Abonnent)?
An applicant is an object that wants to be admitted to an IAM system and goes through registration; once registration succeeds it becomes a subscriber, a subject in the system.
The pair follows NIST SP 800-63 (applicant, subscriber). It marks the boundary of registration: before, the person is merely applying and being checked; after, they hold a digital identity and can authenticate.
