What is a verifiable presentation (VP)?
A verifiable presentation is a signed data package created by the holder's wallet that contains verifiable credentials from different issuers, or parts of them, and allows selective disclosure of claims; it contains metadata, the credentials or parts, and cryptographic proofs.
The proofs can serve different purposes: holder or device binding as well as integrity protection. The metadata describe the VP itself, for instance its expiry.
