What are the main areas of the Bruno interface used to build an API call?

History lists recent calls, tabs hold independent calls with their own parameters, and each tab's URL bar takes the endpoint, since every REST function has its own unique URL.

  • History: a list of all recently made API calls, so you can repeat or compare them.
  • New tab: each tab holds one API call with its own method, URL, headers and parameters, completely independent of the other tabs. That is useful for keeping, for example, the login call and the data call side by side.
  • URL bar: each tab has its own. Because a REST call is basically an HTTP transaction, every configuration change or data query has a unique URL, whether it uses GET, POST, PUT, PATCH or DELETE.

The work happens in the request builder: pick the method, enter the URL, set the authorisation and headers, add a body if needed, and send.
