How does eCH-0219 distinguish natural persons, legal persons and acting versus non-acting organisations?
A natural person is a human as a legal subject who may belong to several organisations; a legal person is an organisation under Art. 52 ff. ZGB or company law and can only act through natural persons; an organisation is a group of persons or things that may contain sub-organisations, and it is acting if it can authenticate itself (a group identity) or non-acting if it can only act via a subject to which it delegates its rights (a legal person).
The distinction decides who can hold a credential: a company cannot type a password, so its rights are always exercised by a natural person on its behalf.
